STOF is a multidisciplinary platform aiming to create a dynamic space to show and share truly interesting people, culture and fashion. We do this via editorials, articles and more, as long as stories can be told and shared with you.
We also want collections to last as a culture and not only for a season, giving products an afterlife while providing a new spotlight for often-overlooked designers.
STOF works from a perspective of elevating each other, so do reach out if you feel like we could do something interesting together, wether it be fashion, music, art... our doors are open.
On the other hand if you're looking for any vintage pieces in particular, let us know - We might be able to get our hands on it !
We mainly focus on Belgian designers such as Maison Martin Margiela, Raf Simons, Dries Van Noten, A.F. Vandevorst, Ann Demeulemeester and more.
Kisses for Vivienne
KISSES for VIVIENNE is a collaboration between w wh at* and STOF.
KISSES for VIVIENNE is a scene for the Open Opera* 393 (abbreviated Oo 393*).
Oo 393* is an artistic research project of w wh at*. The collective explores and depicts the human condition through actions. The audience is invited to participate and to co-imagine and visualize human gestures. This collaborative search for the representation of our human condition reveals other process and product possibilities: as co-creation and as action-souvenirs.
The Vivienne Westwood pieces featured in this Open opera are part of the w wh at* archives. Moreover it consists, among others, of a collection of thematic pieces such as circles, hair, zippers, jeans, typography, black, red, blue ... The objects such as shoes, chairs, tables, lamps, trousers, books, coats, scarves, comics, coffee pots, cups and artworks were chosen for their creative qualities (alternative, well thought out and or well-made and or durable) or their performative potential. These objects were/are used as attributes- mediators of reflection and action and to create inspiring rooms of wonder.
The Open opera cabinets often host STOF. Together, we co-create actions and we organise Stock-Sale-Archive-what* pop-ups to benefit Open opera 393*. This action specifically was organized to give these pieces a salute before letting go of them—and simultaneously to Westwood herself. Therefor we participated with friends and family in several of those pieces.
